Appeal to the Federal Council (Swiss Government)
Reveal and eliminate causes of the coronavirus pandemic!
Niederhasli, 05 April 2020
Dear Federal Councillors
In recent weeks, the Federal Council, with the aim of saving lives, has imposed some extremely drastic measures to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
Our observation is that many citizens are in great concern or even feel fear. To help reduce these fears, we propose to focus more on the causes of the crisis than on the symptoms.
Let us look at some of the backgrounds to identify a possible cause of this pandemic. The virus was first reportedly discovered in the city of Wuhan in China. The first cases occurred in early December 2019. When doctors began to warn, the authorities silenced them. Afterwards, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hushed up the looming pandemic for about six weeks. During this time the virus was spread unhindered to all provinces and abroad. Subsequently, the people were forcefully placed under house arrest. What was never lacking at the same time was rigorous censorship of all media – including social media. The CCP thus once again demonstrates its panic fear of any criticism as well as of the truth. Currently, it is using propaganda to distract from its own failures and even blames other states for the outbreak. While its own country is down and people are desperate and angry with the party, China is playing the role of helper and saviour abroad. An ancient communist tactic.
With its omissions, lies and oppression, the CCP has caused the worldwide spread of the virus and the resulting human suffering. The CCP is thus also directly responsible for the immense, worldwide economic damage. For these reasons we (like the Washington Post) aptly call the virus “CCP virus”. In some countries, there is a growing number of voices that want to hold the CCP legally and politically accountable for these reasons in order to compensate for the damage caused.
A glance into the history books brings the blood trail, which the CCP is responsible for, bit by bit to light. Since the violent seizure of power 70 years ago, violence, oppression, misanthropy and class struggle have characterized the Communist dictatorship in China. The pitiful Chinese people are virtually held hostage. Countless, unprecedented crimes line the path of this party. A few examples: the “Great Leap Forward” (approx. 45 million dead), Cultural Revolution (approx. 20 million dead) as well as the persecution of Uyghurs, Tibetans, Christians and Falun Gong which continues to this day. The forced organ harvesting from living prisoners of conscience must be mentioned here, which in its scope and cruelty represents a genocide never seen before [1]. All these crimes are known and documented. Nevertheless, state and business leaders are sitting down at the table with the criminals responsible. Fast money is put above human rights and ethics. Some may object that their conversation and business partners are not murderers or criminals. For a dictatorship to work, however, it does not simply need a dictator at the top. Other indispensable supports are e.g. party organisation, finances, technology (e.g. for surveillance), infrastructure, propaganda (music, literature, film, sports, education, media, etc.).
Therefore, business and contacts, no matter how they may be, serve directly or indirectly to maintain the system of repression and lack of freedom. In this lies precisely our complicity.

A Buddhist proverb says: “Good is rewarded with good. Evil with evil”. Or in the words of Leonardo da Vinci: “He who does not punish evil commands it to be done”.
These are universal principles, just as they are part of all true religions or traditional culture. Originally, the laws in society were based on them. Unfortunately, many countries in the West have fallen for the honey traps and propaganda of the communist regime and have thus directly or indirectly got their hands dirty.
An interesting observation is also the following: Countries that have made particular friends with the CCP (e.g. Iran, Italy, Spain, Switzerland) are also more affected by the virus. Germany records the most infections with the virus in the federal state of NRW. More than 1’000 Chinese companies are located there. In northern Italy, where the outbreak has its epicentre in Europe, 4,000 Chinese companies are registered in the province of Prato alone and around 30,000 Chinese live there. By contrast, Hong Kong or Taiwan, which despite their geographical proximity to China distance themselves clearly from the CCP and its methods, register relatively few cases. Pure coincidence? It seems that the virus follows the new Silk Road “one belt, one road”…
It is therefore crucial to distance oneself clearly from the Chinese Communist Party and its sometimes well-camouflaged phenomena (e.g. high-tech companies and Confucius institutes) and to condemn the party’s crimes. It is high time to finally end the human rights dialogue with China, which has been conducted behind closed doors, and instead to publicly speak plain language to the CCP! The world has long been fooled by the lies and propaganda of the CCP. But now these lies have become so obvious and brazen that they are no longer believed. The informed voters in Switzerland have long since seen through this one-sided game. We encourage the Federal Council to distance itself clearly and unambiguously from China. The CCP is just about to perish. Please save our country from getting dragged into this maelstrom.
We are convinced that such a step would be a good way out of the CCP virus crisis and that it would eliminate the fundamental cause of the pandemic.
We appeal to the Federal Council not to succumb to the temptations and empty promises of the CCP in the long-term interests of Switzerland. Short-term profits from business with felons create bad luck in the long run!
Thank you very much for taking your time to read this letter.
With kind regards
